A University of Alberta graduate, Dr. Emily Ervin has known she wanted to be a dentist since she was three years old. She understands that going to the dentist can often be challenging, and is committed to making the experience a positive one for all of her patients. She is gentle, friendly and compassionate, and takes the time to go through all treatment options, answer questions and develop custom treatment plans that fit each patient’s unique needs.
After graduating at the top of her class, Dr. Ervin completed a General Practice Residency program at the University of Alberta Hospital in which she received additional training in oral surgery and working with patients with complex medical needs. She also has experience teaching dental students at the University’s Glenrose rotation clinic and the UofA Hospital’s emergency dental clinic.
Dr. Ervin enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including functional and esthetic restorative, endodontics, and surgical extractions including wisdom teeth. She also has a special passion for Invisalign orthodontics, and has devoted many hours to continuing education in this field. In her free time, Dr. Ervin is an avid reader, and loves to spend time outdoors and practice her nature photography.
